Belvedere Union is delighted to announce the second Belvedere Network Forum of 2025.
The aim of the Belvedere Network Forum is to create an environment for past pupils and guests to network and learn from leaders in their industries.

This event will be an interview by Brian McDonald (OB ’96, Bay Advisory) with Barry Napier, CEO Cubic Telecom, who will tell his story of how he and his team built Cubic Telecom, a company that provides connectivity on a global scale for high-value mobile assets.

Today Cubic connects over 23 million devices globally and at the end of 2023, the Japanese tech investment giant SoftBank Corp. bought a 51% stake in the company, valuing it at more than $1B and cementing Barry’s place as one of Ireland’s leading entrepreneurs.

Cubic’s transaction has been one of the largest ever tech transactions in Ireland – representing 80% of all dollars invested into Ireland’s tech start-ups in 2023.
